God's New Community - A Study for Small Groups

The Vision:  Imagine a local church where children, young people and adults are helped to come to faith in Christ: where they are welcomed and loved, taught and trained; where they are confident in sharing their faith, and clear about God’s call on their lives; where they serve one another and their community; and where gifts are grown and leaders developed - all this through the ministry of God’s word and the power of the Holy Spirit. (CPAS – ‘The Body Beautiful’.)

If we are serious about becoming more fully this sort of church, we will want to engage biblically with what is meant by Christian community or being ‘the Body of Christ’, and then put what we learn into practice.

These studies, entitled “God’s New Community”, are designed to enable us to explore something of what God requires in the common life of His people, and to express this life in a way that is appropriate for this generation.
